David Remmert

David joined our team in 2015 after practicing in state hospitals and the private sector. He taught at the graduate level at Pacifica Graduate Institute. He was also a management consultant and Cat 2 competitive road cyclist. David's passion for community mental health stems from a desire to focus the second half of his career on providing services to people who would not otherwise be able to access them. He has an empathic connection to those who have involvement with the criminal justice system and have become entangled in a cycle of criminal behavior. Community mental health is the cornerstone and capstone of David's career fulfillment, having begun his career at Cook County Hospital and Department of Corrections in Chicago.
