Program Supervisor

Britney has practiced psychotherapy since 2015, cutting her teeth in community mental health working with children, teens, and families in high-risk communities with extensive and severe trauma. At Clinica Family Health & Wellness, she enjoys working with adults in the criminal justice system who struggle with severe addictions and trauma. Her philosophy is that people are resilient and have within them what it takes to thrive, but are often derailed by their quest to simply survive. It all comes down to building a healthier relationship with our surroundings and ourselves. Her specialties included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based interventions, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and supporting people in learning skills for managing addiction. Outside of her work, Britney spends her time playing with her two young kids.
