Frequently Asked Questions
Trainings & Engagement
What if I can't afford to take a training?
We believe cost should never be a barrier to education or care. We offer scholarships which may be granted upon request to those in need thanks to the generous philanthropic donations of community members. To find out if you are eligible for financial assistance, contact the Training team by email (trainings@mhpcolorado.org) or phone (720-406-3690).
Can you provide training or support at my workplace?
Yes, our experts frequently provide both virtual and in-person group/team trainings for companies and organizations throughout our region – including for other healthcare and medical providers, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit businesses. Our custom training courses are an excellent teambuilding and professional development activity that will empower you and your colleagues to bring wellness into the workplace. To learn more about our offerings and pricing, contact our Training team by email (trainings@mhpcolorado.org) or phone (720-406-3690).
What languages are trainings provided in?
All trainings are offered in English. We are working to make more offerings available in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) as part of our ongoing commitment to expanding access to mental health care and resources.
Can I become a training instructor?
Are you passionate about mental health, and interested in teaching others lifesaving tools and skills? We can help you get certified as an instructor, and then compensate you for your time in leading training for others!
We especially need bilingual trainers to better serve our multi-cultural community members. To learn more, contact our Training team by email (trainings@mhpcolorado.org) or phone (720-406-3690).
Can I volunteer?
We are working to expand our volunteer opportunities. In the meantime, we invite you consider the several volunteer opportunities available at Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA), a program of Clinica Family Health & Wellness that focuses on supporting survivors of sexual violence and trauma. Visit MESA’s website to learn more.
Can I donate?
Absolutely! Your support is greatly appreciated and valued. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on the generosity of individuals and companies to provide critical support and services to our clients and community. You can donate to our general fund, or to a specific cause close to your heart. Visit our Donate page for more information.
