Frequently Asked Questions
Careers & Employment
Do I need to include a cover letter with my application?
While a cover letter isn’t required, we’d love to hear a little more about you and why you want to be part of our team!
Do you screen out candidates using AI (artificial intelligence)?
No, we have a real person reading your resume and application. We believe taking more time and effort to review each candidate aligns with our mission, vision, and values. We treat each candidate with compassion, fairness, and respect.
What professional development opportunities are available?
We are committed to your career development and have a dedicated Training & Professional Development team. All team members receive training in culturally responsive care and are supported in their licensure supervision, Continuing Medical Education (CMEs), and provided other personal/professional development opportunities - including motivational interviewing, suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, non-violent crisis prevention and intervention, and more.
How long is the hiring process?
It depends on the position and number of applicants who have applied, but on average we strive to make a hiring decision within 30 days or less from when we receive your application. In total, it can take around 2-3 months to fill an open position, depending on how many applications we receive, candidate scheduling, and other factors.
