Frequently Asked Questions
Careers & Employment
Do I need to include a cover letter with my application?
While a cover letter isn’t required, we’d love to hear a little more about you and why you want to be part of our team!
Do you screen out candidates using AI (artificial intelligence)?
No, we have a real person reading your resume and application. While it takes more time and effort on our end, we believe this approach aligns with Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) best practices, as well as our mission, vision, and values. We treat each candidate with compassion, fairness, and respect.
What professional development opportunities are available?
All team members receive extensive training in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) best practices to identify and prevent bias and discrimination in the workplace, as well as when working with clients.
Our staff are also continually supported in their career development through licensure supervision, as well as personal and professional development opportunities - including expert-led trainings on Motivational Interviewing, suicide prevention, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), non-violent crisis prevention and intervention, and more.
How long is the hiring process?
It depends on the position and number of applicants who have applied, but on average we strive to make a hiring decision within 30 days or less from when we receive your application. In total, it can take around 2-3 months to fill an open position, depending on how many applications we receive, candidate scheduling, and other factors.
Are you an Equal Employment Opportunity workplace?
Yes, we are dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity in any term, condition, or privilege of employment. Clinica Family Health & Wellness does not discriminate against applicants or employees on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, marital status, age (40 and over), veteran status, national origin, creed, ancestry, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other status protected by state or local law.
